Submitter Statement : This show serves as living proof that one can do anything that they set their mind to. With an intertwining story-line and a serious take on current events, "Herrings" was able to captivate a large audience with only a modest budget which was mostly financed out of pocket. This is a serious genre piece with stakes and we want to give the audience a thrill every week. Nothing is given with any of these characters. Some will live, some will die. There should be a driving tension throughout each episode. We want stories that will appeal to women, men of all ages , races and orientations and we believe that can be best accomplished by clearly placing elements into an emotional and personal context.

Submitter Biography : Keith Chamberlain is a New Jersey-based artist and filmmaker who strives to tell complex and intimate stories. He has created several projects including the award-winning short films, The Friend of My Friend is Apparently Not My Friend (2013), The Burning Tree (2014) and his dramatic web series, Herrings (2016). His work has screened at festivals and institutions throughout the country.
