Ezgi GundogduOh My God! is a show about how absurd the life actually is. Trying to find some meaning in the world. How one deals with the peculiar, unexplainable, random and chaotic universe. Tone is comedic with occasional dramatic elements that derive from everyday life. Toni while trying to find her place between humans; she finds herself around gods. She applies for a personal assistant job and finds out her employer Helliot is actually the God of Order. While dealing with Gods, Toni finds a purpose in life that is assisting Helliot and saving the humanity from Heden. Helliot learns how to be the God of Order even though his true nature is to be the God of Chaos along with learning to live with himself. Magical realism is the main theme of OMG! For the pilot episode, I want to focus on introducing the characters in a way that showing how I feel connected to them. I feel connected to Helliot because of his past struggles, the sadness that emerges to the surface after you know that the best years of your life is over. I feel connected to Toni in the way that she is looking for a meaning in life. I also feel connected to the premise of the show; dealing with the peculiar, unexplainable, random and chaotic universe. Lastly, I feel connected to the mindset of Heden wants to end humanity, because she thinks humans are not worth it. Farsina Kabir PrithwiAs a director I wanted to make something that could take the audience to a whole new world where gods exists among us! Where gods make mistakes & humans help them fix it. My goal was to tell the story in the most pleasing way possible, both story wise & production design wise. I want to accomplish something that would make the audience laugh and enjoy the show.
