Submitter Biography : Mariya Pyter is a Russian Director, Screenwriter and Producer. Ms. Pyter directed Women In Film PSA for the charity “A New Way of Life” that won the Gold Aurora Award. Ms. Pyter has 2 films, “The Dead are Silent” and “On The Way to Lovetown”, in the festival circuit, one optioned script and a feature documentary film “22”, in post-production. She is serving as a producer and a segment director for the Youtube variety show “THE HOT TAKE!”. Mariya supports the empowerment of women in film, both in front and behind the camera.
